Accessibility statement

Our aim

DIMAS TECHNOLOGIES GmbH wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use a keyboard only, a screen reader, browser zoom or a high-contrast setting. We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as our reference standard.

What is in place

• Semantic HTML with one main heading per page and a logical heading order.
• A skip link to the main content and a visible focus outline on every control.
• Full keyboard operation, including the navigation menu on small screens.
• Descriptive text alternatives for every production photograph, describing what the photograph actually shows rather than repeating keywords.
• Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to narrow mobile widths.
• Colour combinations chosen for readable contrast in body and interface text.
• No automatically moving content, no autoplaying media and no flashing effects.

Known limitations

Some production photographs were taken in the workshop under everyday conditions, so fine embroidery detail may be hard to make out at small sizes. Each photograph therefore carries a written caption in addition to its alternative text. This website has not yet been reviewed by an external accessibility auditor, so this statement is based on our own assessment.
