What this website is

This is a static informational website. It contains no contact form, no user account, no login, no newsletter signup, no online shop, no payment function, no advertising pixel and no social media pixel. Contact is possible only through the email and telephone links published on this site.

The controller has not installed any analytics or marketing service of its own. The hosting platform used to publish this site does, however, run its own basic delivery measurement, which is described in the next section.

Hosting, content delivery and platform measurement

This website is hosted and published on the Lovable platform (Lovable Labs Incorporated) and delivered through the Cloudflare content delivery network (Cloudflare, Inc.), both acting as processors or delivery providers on behalf of the controller. Cloudflare sets a technically necessary security cookie (__cf_bm) to distinguish automated traffic from human visitors. The hosting platform additionally loads a small first-party script that counts page views and technical delivery data for the published site; this happens at platform level and cannot be switched off by the controller from within the website. No advertising profile is built from it and the controller does not receive personally identifying visitor data from it. As with any website delivery, technical connection data such as the requested address, date and time of the request, the transferred data volume, the referring page, browser and operating system information and the IP address of the requesting device are processed by the hosting infrastructure. This processing is technically necessary to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure and stable. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website. This data is not used to identify visitors and is not combined with other data by the controller.

Contact by email or phone

If you write to office@embroidery.at or call the number above, the data you provide is processed in order to handle your enquiry. In the case of email this typically includes your email address, your name, any attachments such as artwork files and the content of your message.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us.

Correspondence is stored for as long as it is needed to process the matter and afterwards for as long as statutory retention obligations require, in particular commercial and tax record-keeping obligations. It is then deleted.

Recipients

Personal data is not sold and is not passed on for advertising purposes. Data may become known to service providers who operate the website hosting and the email service on our behalf, and to authorities or advisors where we are legally obliged or entitled to disclose it.

Cookies and tracking

Technically necessary elements, in particular the Cloudflare security cookie and the hosting platform’s delivery measurement described above, are used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR because they are required for a secure and functioning website.

No analytics service, advertising cookie, profiling cookie or social media pixel is loaded by this website. Because no optional technology is used, there is no consent banner with „accept“ or „reject“ choices; the notice shown on your first visit is purely informational and can be reopened with „Cookie information“ in the footer. Should optional technology ever be introduced, it will be blocked until you actively opt in.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data and to obtain rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna.
